    Wow. As a freelancer and a member of startup communities, I’ve always encountered these jobs but it is only now that I understand what these career options entail (especially the cloud computing!). Kinda regret that I didn’t choose Information Technology or Computer Science as my course in college and went for Communications instead. Sigh. ..I remember the 13-yr old me aspiring to be a web developer.
    I also agree with the need for continuous skill development because technology is indeed constantly changing and just like other modern jobs, not everything is being taught in school. To be globally competitive, we have to enhance our skills and acquire new ones. Fortunately, there are a lot of platforms for online learning. As non -tech professionals, we can still keep up with digital technology.

    This is actually one of the reasons why I wanted to be a professional in an IT related field. I’m an Industrial Engineer, by the way. So I’m not exactly far from that track. Although on the list, I can mostly relate to being a data/research scientist, considering my experience in research during my college years.
    Actually, I have always watched to be data analyst, which I think is pretty much the same with data scientist. There is a certain satisfaction in seeing complex data and unraveling them. It’s what I have always wanted to do, because I think that education and technology are the keys in creating a better world structure.
